AK CAMİİ


İsmini bulunduğu mahalleden alan eser, kitabesine göre H.1280/M.1863 tarihinde Bektaşoğlu Mehmet Usta ve oğlu Ahmet usta tarafından inşa edilmiştir. 400 m2 alanı ile Sille’nin en büyük camisi olan eserin harimi dört sahınlıdır. Eserin minaresi kuzey-batı köşesinde yer almaktadır. Sille’nin en görkemli ahşap mihrap, minber ve kürsülerine sahip olan eserde mihrap ve minberdeki ajur teknikli bitkisel süslemeler görülmeye değerdir.


AK MOSQUE

The mosque took its name from the neighbourhood and according to its epigraph, It was built by Bektasoglu Mehmet “Usta” (master) and his son Ahmet “Usta” in 1863 (1280 in Islamic calendar.) It is the biggest mosque of Sille with its 400 squaremeters field. Its harim (men’s place) has four naoses. The minaret is in the north-west corner. The most glorious wooden niche, pulpit and chair of Sille is in this mosque and the pierced herbal decorations over the niche are spectacular.
